Insurance Requirement for Travel to Georgia From 1 January 2026, travelers entering Georgia must present proof of valid health and accident insurance. The proof may be provided digitally or in printed form and must be in English or Georgian. Minimum Insurance Requirements The insurance policy must clearly include all of the following points: 1. Policyholder / Insured Person Full name of the insured person Georgia must be explicitly stated 3. Type of Insurance Travel health insurance 4. Insurance Period Start and end dates must be clearly indicated 5. Covered Risks At a minimum: Outpatient and inpatient medical treatment 6. Sum Insured At least 30,000 GEL 7. Premium & Payment Details Insurance premium amount 8.
