Climbing Mount Kazbek 

Kazbek (5.047m) is one of the highest and most beautiful peaks of the Caucasus, it is also a mythological mountain Here Zeus punished Prometheus and chained him to the mountain for giving mortals the gift of fire.

Day 1: Arrival to Georgia

Transfer to the Hotel in Tbilisi

Day 2: Tbilisi City Tour

Sites to visit:

• Metekhi church 13th.c
• Narikala Fortress 4th.c
• Old sulfur Baths
• Sioni Kathedral 16th.c
• Anchiskhati Basilica 6th.c
• Rustaveli – Avenue with its Public, cultural and business buildings

In the evening we will drive to a traditional Georgian restaurant to enjoy Georgian kitchen and several house made wines.

Day 3: Tbilisi-Kazbegi (Stepantsminda)

 Departure to Kazbegi, on the to Greater Caucasus visit Mtskheta, old capital and spiritual center of Georgia (UNESCO) and Ananuri Fortress 15th.c

Day 4: First Acclimatization on 3200m.

Drive to Village Dzuta and make a picterisque trekking to Mt Mukhadze (3.200)
