Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Georgia
Upon arrival at Tbilisi International Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Check-in is available from 3:00 pm.

Day 3: Drive to Svaneti Breakfast: 8:00 am / Departure: 8:45 am
Guests joining the tour in Kutaisi will be picked up around midday.
Our scenic drive takes us across western Georgia with several stops, including a visit to the impressive Enguri Dam, one of the world's highest arch dams. In the evening we arrive in Becho, a small mountain village at the foot of the legendary Mount Ushba and the starting point of our snowshoe adventure.

Day 4: First Snowshoe Hike in Svaneti Breakfast: 8:00 am / Start: 9:00 am
Today our Georgia snowshoe hiking adventure truly begins.
Depending on snow conditions and avalanche safety, we choose one of two spectacular routes:
Option A – Baki Pass Elevation: ↑950 m ↓950 m
Distance: 12 km Walking time: 6–7 hours
Option B – Guli Pass
Elevation: ↑800 m ↓800 m Distance: 12 km Walking time: 5–6 hours
Starting from Becho, we hike towards abandoned alpine huts offering breathtaking views of Mount Ushba and its magnificent glaciers.
After the hike we enjoy a hot cup of tea before continuing by vehicle to Mestia, the charming capital of Upper Svaneti.

Day 5: Snowshoe Hike to the Chalaadi Glacier Breakfast: 8:00 am / Start: 9:00 am
Today's snowshoe hike leads through beautiful conifer forests towards the impressive Chalaadi Glacier. Depending on snow conditions, we may reach the glacier itself.
Back in Mestia, we explore the cultural heritage of Svaneti by visiting a traditional Svan family museum featuring an original medieval defensive tower and authentic local house.
Enjoy another delicious homemade Georgian dinner in our family-run hotel.

Day 6: UNESCO Heritage Village - Ushguli Breakfast: 8:00 am / Start: 9:00 am
Today's snowshoe hiking tour in Georgia takes us to Ushguli, Europe's highest permanently inhabited village and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After checking into our accommodation, we set out to explore the snowy surroundings. Depending on weather and avalanche conditions, we hike either towards the mighty Shkhara Glacier or to Ushguli's scenic local mountain.
Option A

Option B
Elevation: ↑750 m ↓750 m Distance: 6 km Walking time: 4–5 hours
In the evening we return to Mestia and enjoy regional Svan specialties.

Day 7: Snowshoe Hike to Suruldi Breakfast: 8:00 am / Start: 9:00 am
After breakfast we drive to the Heshkili Huts, where today's panoramic snowshoe hike begins.
Throughout the day we enjoy magnificent views of the Greater Caucasus, including the impressive peaks of Shkhara (5,193 m), Ushba and Tetnuldi.
At Suruldi Mountain Station we take the cable car back down to Mestia. Those interested can also visit the Ethnographic Museum, home to an outstanding collection of icons, manuscripts, sculptures and traditional artifacts.

Day 8: Kutaisi & Cultural Discovery Breakfast: 8:00 am / Start: 9:00 am
Today we leave Svaneti and travel to Kutaisi, Georgia's second-largest city and the ancient capital of the legendary Kingdom of Colchis.
According to Greek mythology, this is where Jason and the Argonauts came in search of the Golden Fleece with the help of Princess Medea.
During our city tour we visit:

In the evening we enjoy traditional homemade regional cuisine.

Day 9: Cave City & 2 UNESCO Sites Breakfast: 8:30 am / Start: 9:30 am
Following the ancient Silk Road, we first reach Uplistsikhe, one of Georgia's oldest cave cities. This remarkable archaeological site features ancient streets, temples, theatres and palaces carved directly into the rock.
In Gori we make a brief photo stop at the birthplace of Dictator Stalin.
Later we continue to Mtskheta, Georgia's ancient capital and spiritual heart.
Here we visit two UNESCO World Heritage monuments:
Jvari Monastery (7th century) Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th century) Both are among the country's most important religious and historical landmarks.
In the evening we return to Tbilisi.
