There are also routes in Georgia that we do not recommend for self-drivers, e.g. the route over the Abanao Pass in Tusheti or the route over the Latipari Pass in Svaneti, but most of the pass roads are easily passable in summer.

Travel price

The price of a self-drive trip in Georgia depends mainly on the chosen accommodation, but the average price per person for two people is between 120 and 150 EUR per day. Including car, accommodation, breakfast and dinner.

To Armenia and Azerbaijan

You can also take our car to Armenia, but the border to Azerbaijan is temporarily closed. From Georgia to Azerbaijan, you can only travel by plane. As of April 2025.

Car handover

We usually pick up our guests at the airport, take them to their accommodation and take them on a city tour the next day.

The city tour is not only for self-drivers in Georgia to get to know the historical and cultural part of the country, but you also get a good insight into the traffic and the driving style of the locals.

To get a better feel for what it is like to drive yourself in Georgia, we will take a cab ride and then take you back to your hotel.

Immediately after the city tour, you will receive the car and all the necessary documents at your hotel and discuss the details again together on site. As already mentioned, our cooperation does not end with the handover of the rental car, but we are there for you throughout the entire self-drive tour.
